About the author:
Lex is a mama, artist, metalsmith, teacher, and animal advocate with a
special place in her heart for pit bulls. The idea to write a book
came from the nightly ritual of Lex, Maë, and Shoga piling on the
bed for story time. Lex also felt Maë and Shoga’s love story
needed to be told to help change the stigma associated with pit
bulls. Maë is a major idea contributor to the short scenarios in this
book.
Lex is always searching for ways to use her creative energy to be
of service to the voiceless. This book reminds us to not judge
before we understand. To approach things with curiosity, rather
than assumption. Animals are inherently good. We can learn so
much from their gentle heart, resilient spirit, and forgiving nature.
Shoga and Mae!

Mae and Shoga are the main characters of this true love 'tail'. We hope you enjoy our 'tail'!
